Brewteco, in Rio de Janeiro, the first bar to have a new way of freezing beers. They are using solar panels, connected to a billboard, to generate the energy responsible for delivering the drinks at the point.
A Heineken partner, the establishment is part of the “Green Energy” program, which aims to bring renewable energy to 50% of partner bars and restaurants in 19 Brazilian capitals by 2030.
The launch with the billboard takes advantage of Rock in Rio to give visibility to renewable energies. The action was created by Le Pub, an agency of the Publicis group, and seeks to draw attention to renewable energy sources. “This billboard is freezing your Heineken. Cheers,” reads the text on the panel.
The panels that chill the beer bring a connection with the public in an innovative way, inviting people to an important dialogue in a totally different way”, explains Eduardo Picarelli, director of the business unit of the Heineken brand in Brazil.
The action is also anchored in the “Green your city” platform, created in 2021 and with commitments to three pillars: greener cities, circular economy and responsible consumption.
