The broadcaster will present the commitments through videos that will be released every two weeks
Globo presented its campaign to the public that talks about the commitments that the broadcaster will put in its ESG 2030 Agenda, in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
In total, there will be six films – one to represent each commitment assumed – and, so far, Globo has presented its first two. The opening pieces tell details about commitment #1, which is to produce and distribute content in harmony with society, contributing to social and environmental development; and Commitment #2, which promotes diversity and inclusion in our content and our teams.
The films show images of the content shown on Globo’s screens, in line with the premise of commitment, and an off-screen voiceover. The illustrated character moves, forming a spiral animation and blending into the infinity symbol, the seal of Globo’s ESG campaign. The pieces end with the message make a difference every day.
Every two weeks a new film will air, portraying the other commitments: #3, which invests in the continuous development and well-being of our employees, seeking to be, every day more, a company that everyone is proud of to belong; #4, which values and protects biodiversity, promotes environmental awareness and respects the natural limits of our planet; #5, which seeks to promote transparent and responsible governance, guided by the essence of Globo and #6, which seeks to actively support education as a vector of transformation in Brazil.
The campaigns will be broadcast on TV Globo and subscription channels.
