Official sponsor of the Brazilian Football Teams, Kwai, an app for creating and sharing short videos, invited former midfielder Formiga and all the Brazilian fans to star in its new communication in support of this year’s world championship.
Created by VMLY&R, the campaign is a manifesto of encouragement from the Brazilian fans to the canarinhos of the Seleção. Formiga was chosen because of her trajectory in the sport, which began at the age of 12. The player was twice Olympic runner-up and once world runner-up in women’s football. In addition to being the only athlete in the world to have participated in 7 World Cups and 7 editions of the Olympic Games.
The digital campaign on websites and portals started on September 12th, and from this Monday (19th) it will be expanded to broadcast on open and closed TV and social networks.
In the film, the app’s own content creators send messages of encouragement to the team for them to play, sing, hug like all Brazilians.
Kwai has exclusive profiles of the male and female selection within the application. The platform will offer behind-the-scenes content about the Brazilian team in training, in concentration, in the locker room. Exclusively recorded content includes samba circles, new dances by the athletes, barbecue, games, reviews and interviews.
