ZAP+, OLX Brasil’s real estate business unit, chose the theme “Dignidade do Morar as the brand’s cause. The announcement was made during Conecta Imobi 2022, this Thursday (22).
To advance in actions, researchers and interested parties from the academic world were invited to participate in the public notice, which focuses on the development of research on the Role of technology and data in the dignity of living. The action will be led by the real estate intelligence arm of ZAP+, DataZAP+.
As signatories of the UN Global Compact, we are committed to supporting actions aimed at creating a better world through social responsibility and sustainability. In this sense, one of our proposals is to ensure that people have access to decent housing, which is a fundamental condition for everyone. We know that it is a great challenge, so we invited the market to discuss and, together, seek solutions, said Gabriela Zaninetti, VP of Marketing at ZAP+.
With the mobilization of scholars and researchers, the company expects that the result of the research will effectively contribute as a legitimate basis for concrete actions for access to housing.
We live in an era where our ability to generate and process data grows exponentially and it is evident that the use of this information can transform economic activities as well as our way of living. Through the study we want to know how we can use this in favor of society, explained Danilo Igliori, VP Chief Economist at DataZAP+.
Proposals must be sent by November 30th and will be submitted to an evaluation committee made up of internal and external ZAP+ professionals. The winning project should be announced in December of this year and the expectation that the research will begin, effectively, in January 2023.
The real estate market plays a major role in this social transformation. We know it’s not simple, so we’ll start by promoting a deep debate on the topic. From the study, it will be possible to have a real vision and concrete data that will be inputs for engagement and connection of the cause with the brand and society.
