Initiative dedicated to sustainable urban initiatives and social impact in the world’s largest cities
The NGO Mtropole du Grand Paris and So Paulo So launch the eighth edition of the MegaCities Short Docs in Brazil, which is dedicated to sustainable urban initiatives with social impact in the world’s largest cities.
The MegaCities Short Docs documentary festival, launched eight years ago, highlights initiatives that address urban, environmental and social challenges to improve people’s lives in the world’s largest cities.
Cities with more than one million inhabitants (530 in the world), including 35 metropolises, such as So Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre and Greater Paris, France.
Enrollments are now open.
In Brazil, the brand and Portal So Paulo So, which leads the initiative, will evaluate and award categories and achievements based on the 15-minute City concept, which inspired its ‘So Conexes’ project launched in 2021, aimed at theme.
According to the organization, the objective is to encourage people to get involved, ‘but above all to act for a more united and respectful world with the planet’.
