Campaign for Halloween has Soko’s signature; film was directed and illustrated by Jun Ioneda
Heinz and Soko presented a short film as part of the ‘Ingredients That Scare’ campaign, made for Halloween. The film was directed and illustrated by Jun Ioneda, director at Estdio Barca.
The story revolves around the protagonist who encounters some macabre characters throughout the story, who frighten him according to their characteristics, namely “Modified Aciduloid Dark”, “Terrible Goma Tchananan” and “Scary Gluttony”.
The campaign also extends to the influence front, with names such as Diva Depresso, Bielo Pereira, Carol Moreira, Arthur Santoro and Karol Gomes, focused on pop culture, cinema, entertainment and lifestyle.
“For us, it was the perfect time to bring in an incredible artist like Jun Ioneda to co-create a horror story starring the gruesome ingredients found on labels all over the place and help reinforce Heinz’s positioning of superior ingredient quality, elevating creative and visual delivery”, says Andre Savastano, creative data leader at Soko.
The short film, in turn, will be released on Heinz’s social networks and also on the screens of several cinemas in the city of So Paulo, such as Petra Cine Belas Artes, Cine Itaim Paulista, Cine Marquise, Cineflix Cantareira, Cine CAP, Espao Ita (Augusta, Frei Caneca and Pompeia) and Playarte Multiplex (Ibirapuera and Maraba) on October 31, a date that marks and celebrates Halloween.
