The year 2021 was marked by great hit songs in Brazil. Broadcasting on radios, streaming and digital platforms such as TikTok or on Instagram’s “Reels” tool, helped to increase the popularity of the songs among Brazilians.

1 – Cherry Lipstick
The music of the sertaneja duo, Israel and Rodolffo, gained many accesses while the singer Rodolffo was confined to the home of Big Brother Brasil 2021. The success, more focused on the forró style, was top of the charts in Brazil. Listen up:
2 – Brunette
Another country song that gained prominence in 2021 was “Morena”, by the singer Luan Santana, in the month of June. For those who don’t remember, the BBB21 champion, Juliette Freire, was considered to star in the clip, but due to other professional commitments, the girl from Paraíba could not take over the project, giving way to Natalia Barulich.
3 – Dog heart
Despite the controversy involving the singer Ávine Vinny and his ex-wife, the singer’s hit with Matheus Fernandes even gained a trend on TikTok, with little dances played by thousands of people in Brazil.
4- Forget me if you can
The partnership between the duo Maiara and Maraísa e Marília Mendonça, victim of a tragic plane crash in November, rocked on streaming platforms. The song is part of the trio’s album, “Patroas 35%”.
5- Gallop
The song by DJ Pedro Sampair it was also a hit on TikTok, with the right to choreography. It is worth remembering that the artist also released two other songs in 2021: “Atento”, in partnership with Luísa Sonza, and “No floor novinha”, with Anitta.
Bônus: Girl From Rio
Despite not being in Portuguese, the song Girl From Rio, from Rio anitta, was also among the most listened to by Brazilians. With the rhythm of “Girl from Ipanema”, the artist shows a new vision of women in Rio de Janeiro and Brazil.
