With the aim of further amplifying the atmosphere of the most important motorsport category in the world, Heineken®, global sponsor of F1® and six times naming rights of the Brazilian stage in Interlagos, developed its own unique physical structure for the 2022 HEINEKEN GRAND PRIZE HEINEKEN 2022. Called Heineken Village, the 3,300-square-meter space in the form of a star, brings together exclusive experiences and provides a privileged view of about 70% of the circuit.
Created in partnership with the organization of the São Paulo F1 Grand Prix and the Red Door Agency, Heineken Village was inspired by the great festivals and brings a line-up of DJs who will perform during breaks, in addition to a series of activations. The experience begins at the entrance: an immersive tunnel with moving sounds and lights that will transport the audience directly into the world of motorsport. In the central area, Player 0.0 stations have simulators where visitors can compete. The structure also has a 130-meter long zip line, crossing the entire Heineken Village six meters above the ground. The equipment will be exclusively available to the visiting public and should receive around 1,000 people a day.
The space will be fully operated with beer and has food areas, rest areas and a grandstand that guarantees an excellent view of the cars that will pass through the track. The shows will be on account of the presence of great DJs.
The Heineken Village has a capacity for 5,500 people and tickets went on sale at the end of September, selling out in just nine minutes. Those who purchased the pass will have access to the space on the 11th, 12th and 13th of November and will be able to follow the free practice, qualifying, F1 Sprint and race. The Heineken Village will also have an exhibition of the official trophies, which were developed in partnership with the Brazilian artist Bruno Big, and will later be given to the champions of the stage.
“For motorsport fans, the GP is not just about racing. These are special days, full of moments related to sport. That’s why Heineken Village was created: we want to receive our consumers in the best way, with the Heineken® DNA, a brand that specializes in offering unforgettable experiences. The idea is to provide a new way to experience Formula 1 and encourage celebration among fans”, comments Eduardo Picarelli, director of the Heineken® Business Unit in Brazil.
The entire space was designed with accessibility and has a structure of ramps and elevator.
Player 0.0
On Sunday, November 13, an area within the Heineken Village will also host the grand final of the Player 0.0 tournament, a competition presented by Heineken 0.0 that will select the fastest player in Brazil in the official F1® 2022 video game. The two consumers with the best score from the second stage participate in the final, together with the best driver and the best streamer?? In addition to counting on the participation of the public present at the venue, the competition will be broadcast directly from the Heineken Village on partner and guest channels.
