The initiative, created by Africa and Ghana, sheds light on the manifesto created by the brand to praise the achievements of Brazilians throughout their careers.
Budweiser, beer sponsor of the World Cup, invited artists Mano Brown, L7nnon, Papatinho and Lil Baby to star in the official song of the tournament, called “Atura o Baile”.
The initiative, created by Africa and Ghana, sheds light on the manifesto created by the brand to praise the achievements and victories of Brazilians throughout their careers and sends a message to those who still try to belittle the history of those who have already conquered their space and serve of inspiration to other people. In addition, Atura o Baile still makes references to Everybody Wants to Rule the World, from Tears For Fears.
Brazilian culture serves as an inspiration for the whole world. On the pitch, we can see all the joy and relaxation that Brazilians have with their dribbles, their unexpected moves and their way of celebrating a goal or victory. And if lately some have tried to shut us up or repress us, we want to show that nothing will stop us, whether with our dances, our music or our swing. For this, we joined three great artists of national rap in this unprecedented initiative. So, Atura o Baile, said Carolina Caracas Gargione, Head of marketing for Budweiser in Brazil.
The new official FIFA World Cup song is now available on the main streaming apps.
