Amazon was chosen as the best Innovation in E-commerce in Brazil, according to an open poll by iBest, which rewards the best initiatives in the Brazilian digital universe. It competed with Americanas and Mercado Livre in the final of the popular vote. It was also awarded one of the Top3 Marketplaces and Shopping Experience in the country.
For Marcos Wettreich, CEO of iBest, the award serves as a certifier, highlighting those who stand out as the best among the biggest in Brazil. “We anchored the definition of the group of finalists to metrics of engagement and reach, and the iBest winners are those that stood out among the Brazilian giants” points out Wettreich, and adds: “In an extremely competitive market like Brazil, Amazon and Mercado Livre are the great highlights of innovation in e-commerce in application in the country”.
Voting record and news at the biggest award in Brazil
The iBest Award consolidates itself as the biggest award in Brazil, either for the scope of its 87 categories, or for the volume of popular voting. The selection of the best in Brazil is made with the support of an iBest algorithm that searches, quantifies and compares the digital relevance of each initiative, in all the main social networks, websites and apps, and with the support of a prior vote.
In the 2022 edition, iBest also points out the main digital revelations in areas such as Music, Beauty and Humor; the best in 15 states in Brazil and the main ESG initiatives, such as good environmental, social and diversity practices, among other matters of importance to the Brazilian consumer.
