Project has two degree frames, 16 solar and three clocks; campaign has desert as its setting
This week Chilli Beans presented a collection with glasses signed by Luísa Sonza and Pedro Sampaio. The Chilli Hits Oasis Edition features vibrant colors on the frames and lenses to celebrate the summer, as well as a frame that changes arms. Altogether, there are two degree frames, 16 solar and three clocks.
The project was born through a partnership between Chilli Beans and Mynd Brands, a licensing company of the partners Gil Bastos, Fátima Pissarra and Carlos Scappini, specialized in the creation and implementation of actions involving personalities and brands.
According to the company, Luísa participated in the development process. In the line she signs, she opted for narrower formats, which show the trend of ‘vintage shapes’, and prioritized more refined details. “My favorite glasses are the most different ones, with a chain, lens piercing and a stem with a bottle opener. I also wanted a model with clearer and more colorful lenses, which brings a lot of my identity and summer energy”, says Luísa.
Sampaio, who also participated in the development of the models signed by him, says that he considered his lifestyle, routine and professional moment in detail, especially in the choice of colors and frames. “I made sure that black and pink rose were present in all the glasses, referring to a new visual project that I’m developing”, explains Pedro. In addition, due to the artist’s custom of always taking pictures face down, a model with a colored flap on the top was developed.
The campaign brings Luísa and Pedro lost in the desert when, putting on the brand’s glasses, they see a mirage and enter a party at the car wash. “This collection is the face of summer. We managed, together with Luísa and Pedro, to print details of their personalities on the frames and create unique models that can be used in the most varied moments and by the most different styles of people”, says Caito Maia, CEO and founder of Chilli Beans.
