On the eve of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, FIFA closes a historic agreement that takes the biggest football event in the world, free of charge, to all of Brazil.
All 64 games of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ will be broadcast live on FIFA+, FIFA’s new digital platform. The 64 competition games will be available live and free of charge throughout Brazil. The contents are produced in Portuguese, with local commentators and analysis of the matches.
As part of the agreement, Ronaldo phenomenon – One of the best players in the history of the Brazilian national team – will be one of the partners responsible for promoting FIFA+ through its digital channels, Ronaldo TV.
The promotion consists of exclusive interviews, Ronaldo’s reactions to games and the best moments available on the platform, in addition to disclosing the variety of productions in Portuguese.
Casimiro, the biggest sports streamer on the planet, will broadcast one World Cup game per day on its digital platforms, including all the Brazilian National Team games, the semifinals and the final. In total, 22 games will be shown live and free of charge on their platforms.
Livemode will also be responsible for the revolutionary transmission Together with FIFA+, the new streaming service that offers football fans access to live content, original programs and the best sports audiovisual archive.
Through this partnership, FIFA and Livemode will offer a disruptive alternative, engaging millions of young fans who follow Casimiro and want to experience the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ in an innovative and relaxed way.
The FIFA World Cup™ is the most watched sporting event on the planet. The previous edition, held in Russia in 2018, was watched by 3.5 billion people worldwide and FIFA is confident that the competition in Qatar will have an even greater impact.
The first broadcast will be the opening ceremony and match between Qatar and Ecuador on November 20th and will end with the final on December 18th.
