Beats, the drink of every party, goes all out on Web3. But calm down, we are not talking about a new drink option or that exclusive and new party in the city – the focus here is on the virtual universe and digitalized arts. So, the project Beats Community NFT arrives with the launch of its first digital collectibles and activates its community of artists and partners to collaborate with a purpose: to boost funk in Brazil through blockchainsbecoming the first brand to create a crypto fund with social impact.
As a partner in the project, the NGO Voz das Comunidades is the link that connects the brand with music and reinforces the social commitment of the action. In all, 30 digital collectibles – also known as NFTs – were offered for sale. non fungible tokens, or in Portuguese, “non-fungible token”, a unique property digital asset that cannot be copied or replicated?? It is through them that it will be possible to invest in this brand fund to support institutions that foster the funk cultural scene in Brazil.
The digital collectibles were developed by Lumx Studios and Monnos, Brazilian startups that connect businesses and brands to Web3 using proprietary technologies. In a customized way and in line with the brand’s strategy, the platform allows Beats to track engagement, understand the desires of its community and identify opportunities to engage and bring new initiatives to customers.
Andressa Schiessl, Innovation Manager at Beer Garage Ambev, says:
“The union of NFTs and music allows us to enter different markets, uniting different universes, allowing artists to reach other markets and helping art to be seen as an investment.”
The choice of technology blockchain reinforces Beats’ commitment to transparency and distribution of the amount raised with the project. The certainty of directing investment to organizations with a cultural commitment comes from a long-standing partnership with the NGO Voz das Comunidades.
Rene Silva, from the NGO Voz das Comunidades, says:
“This partnership with a brand like Beats increasingly drives the work developed by us in the communities of Rio de Janeiro and also those institutions involved daily with funk. The uniqueness of choosing a technology to generate resources for these organizations demonstrates the importance of this initiative.”
According to Thais Soares, Beats brand director, “The proposal is to build Beats as a culturally active brand, in which funk is one of the platforms. Our mission is to use the brand’s innovation levers to join the cultural movement. And we found in this initiative a unique way to strengthen those who work in favor of rhythm”, she highlights.
