In addition to the World Cup, there is another event that is much awaited by regular internet users and who follow digital influencers: Gkay’s Farofa.
The event, which started this Monday (5th) and runs until Wednesday (7th), gathered around 500 guests at a hotel in Fortaleza to celebrate the birthday of actress, comedian and digital influencer Gessica Kayane, known as Gkay , and promises to be the talk of social media for the next few days.
With an investment of around BRL 8 million, Farofa by Gkay has partnered with some brands this year and the activations began even before the guests arrived in the Northeast.
Inside a garbage bag, which was the invitation to the party, they already had some of the brands that would be with the birthday girl, such as XP Investimentos, Vivara, Latam, Dailus and Listerine. In the case of Latam, the partnership consisted of a stickered plane with “Farofa da Gkay”, which took the influencer’s guests to Fortaleza.
Other brands that are also sponsoring the event are Avon and Esportes da Sorte, in addition to a partnership with Instagram through #MeteumReels and a partnership with Banca Digital. According to the press office at Gkay, other brands should be announced over the course of the celebration.
Among the activities carried out by Esportes da Sorte are personalization of drinks, distribution of balls and biases with the sponsor’s brand, and soap soccer. There will also be a space for make-up and personalization of the hats; a tattoo studio and mobile phone covers with the Esportes da Sorte logo will be distributed, in addition to a space with a company stand.

If in recent years the party was restricted only to the guests’ stories and gossip Instagram posts, this year the public at home will also be able to enjoy the shows that take place there on Multishow and Globoplay, which closed an agreement to broadcast the party.
The first day was marked by shows by Pedro Sampaio, Pabllo Vittar and Lusa Sonza and, in the coming days, Anitta, Simone Mendes, Xand Avio, Tchan, Matu, Wesley Safado, Leo Santana and Ivete Sangalo will take to the stage.
