Angela’s voice represents us, as well as all women who want to continue occupying spaces, overcoming barriers and contributing to the future of new generations, especially against situations of violence of any kind, reinforces Daniela Grelin, executive director of the Avon Institute.
How did Angela’s tone come about
In early November, women’s audio was collected on the Voz de Toda website to compose a unique voice that gives the Avon Institute’s chatbot for combating gender violence autonomy to speak any type of word or phrase.
The compressed sound, which allows ngela to communicate, will be used on the Avon Institute’s social networks in relevant topics for women, mainly on topics such as leadership and equality, politics and women’s spaces. In addition, it will be possible to share information on how to use the place of speech as a tool of protection and inspiration for others.
The Voz de Todos campaign aimed to integrate women so that their experiences and perspectives are heard in traditionally male spaces. Angela will be an important means of communication for the Avon Institute to call society to reconsider transforming silencing, repetitive and naturalized attitudes that exclude women from public debate”, concluded Daniela.
