Last night (07), the market turned its attention to the Caboré Award, the main award in the Brazilian communication industry. Promoted by Meio & Mensagem, the party held at Espaço Monte Líbano, in São Paulo, revealed the 14 professionals and companies that took home the famous owl, symbol of the award.
In a year that carries a load of overcoming and constant readaptation in the face of continuing crises, the list of winners of Caboré 2022 was marked by the evolution and breadth of the communication, marketing and media industry. In total, 42 professionals and companies were nominated, with 38 receiving the cage, symbol of the nomination, for the first time.
Among the winners, Galeria took home the trophy for best Communication Agency in its first nomination. The Advertiser of the Year award went to Heineken, crowning a job that was done thinking far beyond brands, sales and awards.
Globo won, for the second consecutive year, as the best Communication Vehicle (Content Producer). Favela Holding, a group of more than 20 companies whose main objective is the development of favelas and their residents, took the prize for best Marketing Service.
Among the professionals, Stella Pirani (Wunderman Thompson) won in the Strategy Professional category; Helena Bertho (Nubank) was awarded Caboré for best Innovation Professional and Gabi Borges (Publicis) won for Best Service and Business Professional (see below for the complete list).
It is possible to observe a considerable number of women taking the trophy home, which shows an evolution of the market in relation to representativeness, mainly in terms of gender, although there is much to be changed, it is interesting to perceive the change and see it being recognized.
The winners were chosen in an open poll to subscribers of Meio & Mensagem and audited by PWC. The three nominees in each category of the award are selected by the editors of Meio & Mensagem, after a process of consultation with market leaders and editorial analyzes of the trajectories and recent events involving professionals and companies in the covered segments.
