The global beer brand, Corona, announced its newest release: the Sunbrew 0,0%. The product is the first of its kind to have vitamin D in its composition, in addition to being alcohol-free. The novelty, however, will still only be available in Canada.

Corona Sunbrew 0.0% keeps Corona gasoline; was developed from Corona Extra extracting the alcohol and then mixing the beer with vitamin D and natural flavors to reach the final recipe.
The advertising campaign, created by DAVID, presents the concept “Sunshine, Anytime”, which translates to “Sunshine at any time”, reinforcing the brand’s positioning. Scenes filmed on a Costa Rican beach bring the idea of relaxation and the pleasure of outdoor life.
“Every detail of the project is special. From product design to the final campaign. It’s not every day that we get the chance to come up with a product idea and get an innovative customer like Corona to buy, develop and take it to the next level. A true collaborative effort,” says Pancho Cassis, Global Creative Director at DAVID.
Corona Sunbrew 0.0% will be available to consumers in a few distinct phases. The global brand will launch the product in Canada for the first time at exactly the time of year when most Canadians have limited sunlight, making it an ideal market to launch a brand innovation synonymous with beach and outdoor parties. Later this year, the brewery will extend its non-alcoholic product offering in the UK, followed by key markets in the rest of Europe, South America and Asia.
