The 28th delivery of Critics Choice Awards, the famous awards for the best in cinema, television and streaming, will be broadcast live on TNT and HBO Max on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at 9:00 pm direct from Los Angeles’ Fairmont Century Plaza. It is the first time that the streaming platform broadcasts an award live. The party will bring together the artists who stood out the most in the year, according to the Critics Choice Association (CCA). The TV nominees were announced on December 6th and this Wednesday, the 14th, all nominees in the film categories will be revealed.
Warner Bros. Discovery received 31 nominations. Among them, 21 for HBO Max (15 for HBO and 6 for Max Originals), which leads the list. The highlights are House of The Dragon, EUPHORIA, Hacks, The White Lotus, The Survivor and more?? The other 10 nominations for Warner Bros. Discovery went to Warner Bros. Television, TBS, Adult Swim e Cartoon Network Studios.
Os Critics Choice Awards are organized annually by the Critics Choice Association, the largest critics’ organization in the United States and Canada, representing more than 600 media professionals and journalists covering the entertainment field. The best productions of cinema, television and streaming are awarded. Historically, this is the most accurate barometer of future Oscar nominations.
