Samsung has announced Antonio Quintas as Samsung’s new Vice President of Mobile Experience for Latin America. For eight years, Quintas led the Sales, Marketing and Retail teams of the Mobile division at Samsung Brazil, leading the company to lead the local market. With more than 30 years of solid experience in the technology industry, having worked for large global corporations, Quintas will now be responsible for coordinating seven subsidiaries with a special focus on the Galaxy line.
With the change, Gustavo Assunção, current vice-president of Consumer Electronics, assumes the vice-president of Mobile Experience in Brazil. With a career spanning more than 20 years, Assunção has been with Samsung for 13 years, having worked in different positions and business units at the company, being responsible for the leadership of the local Consumer Electronics division and leadership in the television market in the country. Wonwoo Kim continues as Corporate Vice President of the Consumer Electronics division, a position he has held since 2020.
