This Friday, December 16th, MRV&CO will launch its “Carta” Christmas campaign. With the creation of DM9, the communication has as its main part a film that tells the story of Waldete, one of the thousands of Brazilians who learned to read and write at the construction sites of the MRV&CO group, through the Escola Nota 10 project.
With narration by Milton Nascimento, one of the most important artists of Brazilian popular music, the film shows how Waldete, now 59 years old, fulfilled his biggest dream: to write.
Aired on cable TV and digital channels, in 30′, 60′ and 90′ versions, the campaign reinforces MRV&CO’s concern with people’s development and brings an essential final message, at the same time a Christmas wish from Waldete : let everyone remember that it is never too late to start writing the future.
The Escola Nota 10 project aims to raise the educational level of workers at MRV construction sites. “Our investment in the training of our employees offers opportunities for personal and professional development through education and stimulates the potential for local sustainability.
In 2022 we met our goal of creating 34 schools and this is cause for celebration, after all, over a decade, more than 4,800 students have been literate at our construction sites. In addition, the NPS (satisfaction and recommendation) of the classes is over 90, which means that we have a learning level in the zone of excellence. Now, our goal for the coming years is to reduce the number of illiterates on the company’s sites to zero,” says Alexia Duffles, marketing and communication director at MRV&CO.
