EA Sports, one of the biggest developers in the games market, has hit the World Cup champion again with its simulator through FIFA 23, the company’s latest release. In November, a few days before the tournament started, the company announced that based on the simulation made with FIFA resources, the brand’s main game, Argentina would be the big winner and take the cup home, just like it happened yesterday.
This is the fourth consecutive World Cup that EA Sports has determined the winner even before the start of the tournament. The first time was in 2010, when the developer nailed the victory of Spain, which became champion of the tournament that year. After that, in the two following Cups, the company also managed the victories of Germany, in 2014, and France, in 2018.
However, the success was not achieved in all areas of the tournament. EA had predicted that Brazil would go further in the tournament. In the simulation made by the developer, the selection would reach the grand final, in which it would lose 1×0 to Messi’s team. The final that took place yesterday between Argentina and France, considered one of the greatest of all time, would be the semi-final game, with the Argentines also passing by 1×0.
Fifa 23 is available Xbox Series S | X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
