Willing to further expand sponsorships and commercial partnerships in 2023, paiN Gaming, one of the largest esports organizations in Latin America, announces the hiring of Rodrigo Iorio as partnership manager and Rafaela Máximo as planning manager.
With a decade of experience in business development, partnerships and sponsorships at Grupo Globo, Associação Paulista de Futebol and Estrela Bet, Rodrigo Iorio will be responsible for new commercial partnerships and sponsorship management for the organization. “My main focus will be to connect paiN to brands that want to participate in projects with one of the biggest e-sports brands in Latin America and the world”, says the executive.
Rafaela Máximo, who comes from Omelete Company and has worked at agencies such as Inhaus, Blanko and Haute, brings her experiences with brands that invest in the gamer universe to manage the strategic planning of paiN Gaming. According to her:
“I believe that the way brands work with sponsorships and content is changing. My goal is to be able to translate our community and connect them with endemic and non-endemic brands in an authentic and genuine way, generating experiences and connection. We are talking about a younger generation, which handpicks the brands they will have on their side. And I couldn’t be happier at paiN, where we work with an engaged, present community with a fully fan-featured directional.”
Julia Toledo, General Partnership Manager, executive responsible for paiN’s commercial partnerships, says that the two professionals will be fundamental both in deliveries with current partners and in prospecting for new business. As she states:
“The qualification of our team is in line with our efforts to make our portfolio of services even more attractive for endemic and non-endemic brands that want to enter the esports universe.”
