The award, which will be handed out by Slam das Minas to one of the five nominated revelations, celebrates the role of women in the world of music
Marisa announced the sponsorship of the category of composers of the WME Awards by Music2!, an award designed to increase female protagonism in the world of Brazilian music and celebrate the highlights of the year.
The event will take place on December 21, in So Paulo, with a performance by Preta Gil and pay tribute to singers Margareth Menezes and Elza Soares, in addition to having a live online transmission throughout the country.
The category sponsored by the company indicates names of new generation composers such as Brisa Flow, Budah, Carol Biazin, Elana Dara and Lari Ferreira, and the award ceremony will be under the responsibility of the group Slam das Minas. The members of the group will be dressed in Marisa looks and will assume the mission of delivering the trophy to one of the winners.
