The initiative aims to create a functional signaling system that reconciles and connects the nature of the park with the people who frequent it.
Considered one of the main parks in Porto Alegre (RS), Moinho dos Vento is undergoing a new revitalization and will receive a new signaling and setting project signed by Gad.
The initiative aims to create a functional signaling system that reconciles and connects the nature of the so-called “Parco” and the Moinhos de Vento neighborhood to the people who use the park.
To value the connection between the place and the people, Gad sought to bring the concept of the city in motion, using the icon of the Mill’s blades and the autumnal colors for discreet signage that, at the same time, indicates the route and the walk of the families inside. from the location. In all, there will be 46 signs, including directions for running and walking, indicative and directional.
Signage, which is part of this, strengthens people’s relationships with the Parco. It composes the landscape with elements inspired by the blades of the mill, offering close communication, which promotes identity, engagement, motivation and belonging, said Leonardo Koboldt Araujo , partner and head of Experincia do Gad.
Restoration and maintenance is being carried out by the brands that maintain the park, such as Melnick, Panvel, Tramontina, Zaffari, Moinhos de Ventos Hospital and Porto Alegre City Hall.
