Allianz Seguros is the new sponsor of the women’s football team of Palmeiras, according to a note published on the official website of the team from São Paulo.
The company, which has owned the naming rights of Casa Palestrina since the arena opened in 2014, will print the logo on the front bar of the Palestrina uniform.
Since the beginning of our management, we have been committed to bringing more and more investments to Palmeiras. I believe that this is the only way to keep the club at the highest level. Therefore, we are very happy that a large company like Allianz Seguros is sponsoring our women’s soccer team, said the current president of the club, Leila Pereira.
According to the club’s official website, the sponsorship will debut this Wednesday (21), during the Paulista Championship final.
Allianz Seguros has been establishing relationships with partners that support diversity, equity and inclusion and work on issues aligned with the company’s ESG values. This sponsorship is yet another way of reinforcing our purpose of contributing to the development and representation of women in Brazilian football, following the example of what the Allianz Group already does at Bayern Munich, said Luiz Cartolano, executive director of Marketing and Transformation at the company.
In addition to Allianz Seguros, Verdo’s Marketing Department obtained four other partnerships for the women’s team in 2022: Betfair, Cimed, Carto de Todos and Pernambucanas.
