Broadcaster to have exclusivity of the tournament; there will be four games a week
Band acquired the rights to be the only open TV channel to broadcast this year’s Carioca Championship, which starts on the 12th. Last year, Carioco was broadcast on Record TV.
The broadcaster will present four competition games per week. The opening match will be between Flamengo and Audax Rio, on Thursday of next week, starting at 9 pm.
The storyteller Sergio Mauricio being one of the voices of the tournament.
Departures during the week will be at 21:00. On Saturdays, the games start at 4:00 pm and will be highlighted in the pre-game within the Band Esporte Clube program, from 12:30 pm, with presenter Cris Dias. On Sundays, games will start at 6 pm.
The Sports Show starts at 10 am and will have special coverage with Elia Junior. Glenda Kozlovski will anchor the live broadcasts from the stadiums alongside Getlio Vargas, former Flamengo goalkeeper and presenter of Os Donos da Bola in Rio de Janeiro.
