KRAFTON, Inc. and Bugatti Rimac, an automotive company formed between Porsche and the Rimac Group, have unveiled a new partnership to bring the world’s fastest acceleration car – Rimac Nevera – to the newest game of the PUBG franchise, the PUBG: NEW STATE.
Rimac Nevera was designed and handcrafted in Croatia by Rimac’s in-house team. The car’s name reflects a force of nature that takes place in the open sea in Croatia. A nevera is a fast, sudden, and powerful storm that is carried by lightning.
Rimac Nevera reaches 415km/hr
Like the storm it takes its name from, Rimac Nevera is a force like no other – born for superior performance and capable of exceptional speeds. Faster than an F1 car, but easy to drive, the Rimac Nevera is a 1914hp all-electric supercar that can go up to 415 km/hr and costs around 2 million euros. It was also designed to achieve an unprecedented level of performance; ¼ of a mile in just 8.582 seconds.
Super car arrives at PUBG on the 13th
Players will be able to jump into Rimac Nevera and test it out on the Troi map once it’s introduced in PUBG: NEW STATE, in the update scheduled for next Thursday (13).
A Rimac box will be introduced for a limited time, containing several unique items, in addition to the Rimac Nevera in five color variations, including: Nevera Blue, Powder Gray, Prism Glow, Sunburst Red and Luminous Gold.
“We are excited to collaborate with one of the most popular game companies in the world. When they told us about their futuristic concept in the game, it was an extremely obvious decision; Rimac Nevera fits perfectly into this kind of digital environment. We look forward to reading community comments and organizing online and offline activities in the coming months. I feel it is a successful long-term partnership with great results for both sides”, commented Ela Buljat, Senior Marketing Specialist at Bugatti Rimac.
“We are extremely happy to announce our first collaboration and it is truly an honor to have Bugatti Rimac, an iconic and innovative automobile brand, with us to kick-start this new year,” said Minkyu Park, Executive Producer of PUBG: NEW STATE. “This is a remarkable collaboration for us and adding Rimac Nevera to the game will further enhance the fun, intensity and experiences of the game for our fans.”
