Exit from the list of advertisers took place this Friday (13), two days after the company announced an ‘accounting inconsistency’
After the BRL 20 billion burst, announced this week, Americanas is no longer a sponsor of BBB 23, which premieres next Monday (16th) on Globo. The brand, which had renewed its partnership with the broadcaster, was in the Big quota, the main one of the program.
The information was confirmed by PROPMARK sources.
Last Wednesday (11), in addition to communicating the ‘accounting inconsistency’, Americanas also announced the resignations of the company’s CEO, Sergio Rial, and CFO, André Covre, both executives having been sworn in on January 2 and they had been performing their duties for less than ten days.
