The T.EX School – Technology Experts, Cogna’s new frontline for short courses aimed at employability and tech career development, is launching more than ten free open courses, starting immediately, with exclusive content and certificates of completion, for professionals who want to join in the area or make a career transition.
Among the free courses, the following stand out: Programming Logic; Agile Methodology with Scrum; UX – User Experience; DEV career; Data Career; Product Career; Cloud Architect Career; Information Security Career; between others. In June of last year, the initiative had already launched 20 exclusive scholarships for black people or LGBTQIA+ with monthly income of up to R$ 2,000. At the time, the opportunities were in Full Stack technologies.
The lack of professionals in the sector is a global challenge, according to the consultancy Korn Ferry, in 2023, the world workforce deficit in the areas of technology, media and telecommunications will be 4.3 million workers. According to Leonardo Queiroz, Head of T.EX and VP of Growth at Cogna, the company expands its portfolio to deliver the knowledge of skills most requested by the sector. “Faced with this scenario and in line with T.EX’s purpose of transforming lives through education and technology, we want to expand and democratize access to these professionals’ knowledge and help them prepare them for the market”, comments the executive.
According to recruitment consultancy Robert Half, the technology and ESG sectors are expected to grow the most this year. For 68% of respondents, finding qualified professionals will be the most challenging of 2023. There is another important factor that makes the tech area disputed: the high wage rate and the vast amount of open opportunities. “In this way, the market attracts both people who are currently working in other areas, but who want to make a career transition because they know about the good salaries and the large number of vacancies, as well as those who are outside the job market and see an opportunity quick start with good pay”, explains Queiroz.
In addition to free courses, T.EX has the T.EX+ subscription plan, which entitles you to all courses on the platform for attractive prices, support from technical tutors and mentorships, allowing students to choose between three options that best adapt to their your reality. Values vary from R$49.90 to R$249.90 and the contents can be accessed in the way that is convenient in the period of 12 months. Classes are 100% recorded and there is the possibility of live meetings for the development of group projects.
