Team Liquid’s new VALORANT women’s line-up debuted in style by beating the ODDIK Bright team in the first VCT Game Changers Brazil 2023 qualifying tournament. Cavalaria defeated the opposing team 3-0 and took, in addition to the trophy, a prize of BRL 10,000 and 400 more points in the season’s ranking, which will be essential to reach the big dispute of the VCT Game Changers Brazil Series, in March.
The competition, which ended on Saturday (28), was the first played by Liquid with the squad assembled for this year, which aims to reach even higher heights and stand out in the main global tournaments of the category. The current team is formed by the players Natália “daiki” Vilela and Paula “bstrdd” Naguil, who were highlights of the victorious 2022 campaign, and by the newly signed Isabeli ‘isaa’ Esser, Leticia “Joojina” Paiva and Vitória ‘bizerra’ Vieira . The team has André ‘Palestra’ Daguano as coach.
The first qualifier for VCT Game Changers Brazil 2023 took place in MD5 format (best of five) with intense matches in which Team Liquid managed to dominate the opponent. The chosen maps were Haven (13-6 for TL), Ascent (13-7) and Icebox (13-6).
Cavalaria has been standing out in the female Brazilian scenario of VALORANT and in 2022 won nine titles on the VCT circuit (VALORANT Champions Tour), seven stages of the Genesis Protocol and two of the Game Changers Brazil Series. The team also reached third place in the world of the modality, the Game Changers Championship, in Berlin, Germany.
