For five days, Igo and Mtico will receive national rap and trap names to publicize the series directed by 50 Cent.
Lionsgate+ is promoting the second season of “BMF (Black Mafia Family)” and, to reach an ever-increasing audience, it has teamed up with Podpah, which will hold Rap Week on the show starting this Monday (6).
From the 6th to the 10th of February, Igo and Mtico will have rap and trap names on their table to promote the series directed by American producer and rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.
In total, the videocast will feature five episodes with emerging and established artists from the hip hop scene in Brazil, starting with action with the presence of rappers Tasha and Tracie. Those confirmed for the next few days will be Sidoka, Thiago Veigh, Yunk Vino, Danzo and Kaire and Dexter. The episodes from Monday to Thursday start at 7 pm, while the one on Friday starts at 1 pm.
The series is inspired by real events and tells the story of two brothers who grew up on the streets of southwest Detroit in the late 1980s, and started one of the largest organized crime families in the United States. The production features names like Snoop Dogg, Ajiona Alexus Brown, Michole Briana White, La La Antony, Kelly Hu and Eric Kofi Abrefa in the cast.
The second season will be released on January 6th and reached the mark of 4.1 million viewers on all platforms where it is shown. Lionsgate+, which produces the plot, confirmed the third season of Black Mafia Family for next year.
