Space and RedeTV! They closed a partnership with Garena for the live broadcast of the new season of the Brazilian Free Fire League 2022.
This year’s Garena Esports season will consist of two stages of the LBFF, which guarantee places for the world championships in the category, the Free Fire World Series (FFWS). In total, there will be more than R$2 million in prizes, distributed in national competitions throughout the year.
“LBFF will be the first electronic game competition to have simultaneous transmission on open and closed television networks”, said Vinícius Junqueira, Communications Manager at Garena
“We are always looking for innovation in how we bring more engaging experiences to our fans. The LBFF will be the first electronic game competition to have simultaneous transmission on open and closed television networks, in addition to the already traditional streaming platforms. In this way, we hope that LBFF and Free Fire fans have, directly from the comfort of their homes, a range of options to cheer for their idols and teams from one of the biggest national Esports leagues”, commented Vinícius Junqueira, Communications Manager in Garena.
According to the press release, this year’s championships had structural changes and improvements driven by the analysis of feedback from professional players and the community.
“The union between an open television, a cable TV and the largest global developer in the mobile games industry, creator of the most versatile and democratic game in the world, elected the best mobile game of 2021, which records astronomical numbers of downloads and record of daily active players, tends to be a national success case. The sum of these properties enhances the project even more, giving strength to a completely integrated and 360° commercial plan. In this way, we manage to fulfill all the wishes of potential customers and provide our public the opportunity to watch the biggest Free Fire championship in the country and the World Cup, tuning in the RedeTV! signal throughout Brazil for free”, said Amilcare Dallevo Neto, head of Sales and Value Creation at RedeTV!.
