In Brazil for more than two years, the market chain Oxxo took advantage of the buzz about the correct pronunciation of its name as a hook for its new campaign. Developed by the Mestia agency, the action seeks, in addition to bringing the brand closer to the public, to present the new façade of the units.
With the slogan ‘If you say “-quis’s”, but you can call it whatever you want’, the campaign will consist of film and will continue with digital reinforcement over the next few months, seeking to establish a dialogue with the public.
We took advantage of the hype generated by a wave of comments to address the issue, and of course, more important than explaining the pronunciation of a company’s name, is showing how the consumer will be received by it, explains Paulo Sanna, CEO/CCO of Mestia.
