The short video application joined the Terra portal for the transmission of cabins and street blocks
Kwai presented its strategies for celebrating Brazil’s most popular festival, Carnaval. For the celebration, the short video app decided to bet on partnerships, influencers and live transmissions from street blocks in So Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Salvador.
To cover the event, Kwai will have a content partnership with the Terra portal. The agreement between the parties includes a glass studio for the transmission of Camarote Brahma Salvador and Camarote Bar Brahma So Paulo.
As part of the programming with the Terra portal, influencers Lumena Aleluia and Laddy Nada will be the app’s Carnival ambassadors and presenters of the Momento Kwai segment, in which they will bring backstage information and live content.
“Carnival is one of the main cultural celebrations in Brazil, and Kwai could not be left out. As a democratic platform and which is the face of Brazil, we believe in the importance of the long-awaited moment of resuming the event and offering a unique experience both within and outside the app. Through partnerships, influencers and live broadcasts, we will be present at the main parties in the country. Our mission is to involve the public, allowing them to participate in the party in the most joyful and memorable way possible, said Claudine Bayma, director- overview of Kwai in Brazil.
Kwai on the street blocks
The application is one of the sponsors of the Street Carnival in Rio de Janeiro and will offer a series of actions to involve the public in different blocks around the city. At the So Paulo street party, the app will be with the traditional Ritaleena block, with the aim of bringing content to the app, in addition to actions with the revelers present.
In Salvador, Kwai will be in the Trio Elétrico at Major Lazer, the only free electronic music block on the Barra-Ondina Circuit, which will have as guests the national electronic pagodo band ttooxx and the electronic duo Tropkillaz.
All the highlights and content produced by the partners will be concentrated on a special Carnival page within the application, where users will also find the “Estrela do Carnaval Kwai” activity, which will distribute bonuses to those who engage in the actions.
