CEO and partner of Lew’Lara\TBWA will lead the entity in the 2023/2025 period
The Brazilian Association of Advertising Agencies (Abap) will be led by a woman after 74 years. Marcia Esteves, current CEO and partner of Lew’Lara\TBWA, was appointed to assume the position in the 2023/2025 period.
The meeting that formalized the appointment of the executive was led by the president of Abap, Mrio DAndrea, on January 27th. Now, Marcia must start composing the ticket to participate in the dispute for the direction of the entity, which takes place on March 30th.
My relationship with Abap is a commitment to uniting and strengthening our long-standing market, which is renewed every day. Therefore, it is an honor to have been nominated to continue the great work of the current board, of which I have been part since 2018. This management has played a very important role, with projects, initiatives and institutional debates in defense of our sector, said the CEO by Lew’Lara\TBWA.
In addition to her, three other executives make up the board: vice-president Maria Laura Nicotero (Momentum) and directors Paula Puppi (WPP Brasil) and Adriana Machado (Tom Comunicação).
During her more than 20 years of experience in the market, Marcia has participated in the construction of brands such as P&G, Pepsico, Nissan and Reclame Aqui. In addition to being CEO and Partner of LewLara\TBWA, the executive also serves as vice-president of the Board of Amcham and sits on the board of entities such as Conar and Cenp.
Marcia is one of the most prepared and talented executives in our sector, and I am certain that ABAP will be in good hands under her direction. Proof of this is that in recent years she has maintained an outstanding role on the board of ABAP, closely monitoring relevant issues for the defense of our activity, concluded Mario DAndrea, president of Abap.
