The company will donate more than 29,000 parts, which will be delivered to the Gerando Falces Distribution Center by March 2023
Dafiti started a campaign to donate children’s items to the Baazar of the NGO Gerando Falces. The action aims to reinforce the brand’s commitment to social responsibility.
Between the 13th and the 19th of February, for every purchase over R$299 made on the Dafiti, Kanui and Tricae website, a piece will be donated to the institution.
Concern about how we do our business is part of Dafiti’s culture. This means that we are always reflecting on our impact on the world and seeking to do the best for the society in which we operate. Living this value is believing in our duty to promote more sustainable fashion, a socially fair market and responsible entrepreneurship”, said Isabel Chelotti, Senior Manager of Organizational Development, Communities and Internal Communication at Dafiti.
Dafiti will donate more than 29,000 pieces, which will be delivered to the Gerando Falces Distribution Center by March 2023. The products donated to the NGO will be offered for sale to the low-income population at prices up to 80% cheaper than the traditional market. In addition, the entire net result from Bazaar sales will be reinvested in transformation programs in the outskirts and communities developed by the NGO.
To fight poverty we need everyone’s support. About 20 million Brazilians live in vulnerable situations in the favelas and the circular fashion process allows them to have access to quality products. Furthermore, conscious consumption does not only help the community, it helps the entire environment and the planet, added Mayara Lyra, Social Business Director and co-founder of Gerando Falces.
The donated products will be transported from LEAP, Dafiti’s distribution center, to the headquarters of the NGO Gerando Falces, by Transportadora Rede Forte Logstica, which will carry out the freight free of charge in support of the action, generating a positive impact chain.
