Rodrigo da Matta and Rodrigo Tortima will lead the creative team in So Paulo and Brasilia
Lew’Lara\TBWA restructured the management of the creation area and officially presented its new leaders.
The agency led by Marcia Esteves focuses its creative leadership on Rodrigo da Matta and Rodrigo Tortima, who have a team of 3 creative directors in So Paulo, 2 newly promoted associate creative directors in Brasilia.
A copywriter by training, da Matta previously worked at agencies such as Wunderman and JWT (which merged to form WT today), Africa, Age, and McCann Erickson. J Tortima has worked for Grey, Talent Marcel, DM9DDB, Loducca and Leo Burnett.
Being in charge of this project alongside Trátima, and having the talent of the entire creative team, is a great privilege, but also an immense responsibility. Because, to be in creative leadership, you need to be more than a reference for creativity. It is, above all, to be an example of leadership. And that’s what we’re going to try to be, said Rodrigo da Matta.
In addition to them, the team has the support of at least 5 creative directors. Under the management of the duo, there are Marilu Rodrigues, Thiago Lacorte and Fernando Lyra, allocated at the headquarters in So Paulo, where the trio is divided into Hubs, working in a focused way for the agency’s brands.
At the office in the federal capital, Jailma Ribeiro and Guilherme Branco were promoted to associate creative directors (ACD, in English). Both make up the creative team at the headquarters in Brasilia, under the management and leadership of Rodrigo Tortima. The duo leads the creative team that takes care of Banco do Brasil, responsible for the main campaigns of BB in 2022, such as Mother’s Day, Agro/Digital Solutions, Accessibility, launch of BB Cash/Conta Jovem and New Year’s Eve.
Our agency is part of a network recognized for creative excellence and we are going to place it in an increasingly prominent place. The challenge of leading the creative team together with Da Matta is huge. Let’s get together to raise the quality of delivery and put the whole team in the same direction. We have an incredible team of creative leaders, a lot of talent and drive in all areas, and a leadership that loves and recognizes creativity as the engine of our business. Let’s do it, Tortima said.
