A McCain, a brand of frozen pre-fried potatoes, launched the Potato Pops, a product made with potato chips, pieces of pepperoni and bacon flavor that promises to conquer the taste of Brazilians and make the happy hour at home easier.
The novelty can be prepared in the oven or AirFryer, valuing the practicality in the kitchen. The product is part of the brand’s innovation plan, which has increasingly invested in differentiation and a complete experience for the consumer.
“Potato Pops brings a new texture and flavor experience to the market, as it is the first product in its category in Brazil that combines potato chips with pepperoni inclusions and bacon flavor. We have increasingly invested in differentiated products that meet the needs of our consumers, and of course, have a lot of quality and flavor”, he explains. McCain’s bet was based on a survey conducted to analyze the eating habits of Brazilians. The study showed that the happy hour at home, with family and friends, has become increasingly frequent and important, moving billions of dollars in consumption of different food categories. In addition, in this more relaxed moment, 70% of people are looking for a more “casual” food that can be shared.
“We know that our consumers are increasingly prioritizing unique moments of interaction with friends and family, and we want to be a part of those experiences. We are sure that a special potato is the type of product that brings flavor, practicality and will be very well accepted by the public who is at home sharing good times with family and friends”, comments Victoria.
