March arrived with everything, and right at the beginning of the month we have a very important date to celebrate: International Women’s Day. Next Wednesday, March 8th, is their day, and with that in mind, Adnews has prepared a special TopPubli, with 5 campaigns that focus on valuing the female audience.
Check out 5 campaigns with women in the spotlight:
For many years, the advertising market was sexist when treating women in the famous campaigns made for beer brands. With that in mind, Skol decided to innovate in 2017 and launch a special video focused on renewing this type of product and the image it conveys to the female audience.
Burger King – Wage Equity
In a campaign that brings to light the numbers involving the difference between genders in the job market, in 2022 Burger King brought data to its customers in a creative way. When ordering food through delivery, consumers were given a delivery time that is actually the estimated time for women and men to achieve market equity.
Who said, Berenice? – It’s for me!
In 2015, a Quem Disse, Berenice? launched one of its most remarkable campaigns. Thinking about how women should face the different “no” they receive on a daily basis just for being women, the brand released a video with the word being crossed out using the brand’s makeup for this.
Netflix – International Women’s Day
Thinking about showing more about the female reality during the different eras of cinema, since the 30s, Netflix has launched one of its most creative campaigns. In the year 2021, the video was released especially to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Nike – Dream Crazier
And also thinking about the international market… After conversations surrounding its Just Do It campaign, starring Colin Kaepernick, in 2019, Nike released an equally impressive video titled “Dream Crazier”. Narrated by Serena Williams, the video featured footage of female athletes, including Caster Semenya and Kathrine Switzer, who achieved success despite facing criticism and adversity.
