Saigon Filmes announced the arrival of Mariana Youssef as the new scene director. The former Paranoid will be represented by the production company’s Brazilian and Mexican offices.
Graduated in cinema from Academia Internacional de Cinema, Mariana learned acting for directors at the Judith Weston Studio in Los Angeles and screenwriting techniques from Guillermo Arriaga in Chile. In her recent works, the professional was responsible for directing three episodes of the Lov3 series for Amazon Prime Video and general direction of the series As Seguidoras for Paramount+ in 2021. In 2022, she also directed and created O Beijo Teenage for HBO Max and Wishes SA for Star+.

Awarded at festivals such as Cannes Lions, New York Festival, Clio Awards and Ciclope, in addition to having become a jury at D&A and Ciclope, Mariana Youssef also debuted in the universe of feature films, with the film “Os Vivos”, released in 2022 .
In advertising, the professional has in her portfolio films for brands such as Ford, J&J, Rolling Stone, Fiat, Sky, Natura, Samsung, Coca-Cola, among others. In addition, Mariana actively works in the cause of gender equality as an ambassador for Free The Work, an international initiative that seeks to change the scenario of inequality in the audiovisual sector.
