The 2023 World Festival of Creativity was officially launched this Tuesday (7), which will take place in So Paulo last year, the city of Salvador hosted the meeting.
The festival will take place between April 20th and 22nd and will feature experiences, panels, lectures, workshops and performances for professionals, entrepreneurs and companies in the sectors that make up the creative economy.
The activities will take place in some of the city’s historic buildings, such as Edificio Martinelli, Edificio Matarazzo, Teatro Municipal, in addition to Pateo do Collegio, Praça Antnio Prado, B3, Viaduto do Ch, among others.
The festival in So Paulo kicks off the activities of the World Creativity Day, which takes place in another 100 Brazilian cities and in 12 other countries around the world. Conceived in Brazil by Lucas Foster, the date became part of the official UN calendar in April 2017.
The event is organized by the World Creativity Organization and its main objective is to unite the creativity and innovation ecosystem of different cities, focusing on sustainable development based on pillars such as learning, diversity, entrepreneurship and transformation.
The festival celebrates the importance of creativity for building a sustainable future for all and São Paulo was chosen as the World Capital of Creativity by the World Creativity Organization to show, in practice, how creativity and the creative economy transform places and life. of people, said Lucas Foster.
