9 edition of the Agencies Census showed that female leaders are 32%
The 9th edition of the Agencia Operand Census showed that women in leadership positions in agencies are only 32.7%, just under 1/3 of the total. The survey heard 541 professionals occupying management chairs in communication companies.
According to data from the Continuous PNAD, the number of women in Brazil – 51.1% – is greater than that of men – 48.9% – in the composition of the Brazilian population. However, the survey reinforces that, within the labor market, there is an underrepresentation of women.
The female presence in branch management stood at 32.09% in 2022, and 32.72% in the 2023 edition of the Census.
