List of the English publication brings six Brazilians among the creative directors and four in the ranking of CCOs
One of the main creativity magazines in the world, The Drum released the ranking with the most awarded creatives in the world. The list, divided between creative directors and CCOs, brings a total of ten Brazilians, some of whom are active outside the country.
As reported by The Drum, the chosen names were analyzed according to their work performance in some of the world’s main creativity awards held last year.
In the ranking of creative directors, the best positioned Brazilian is Bruno Brux, from GUT SP, in 25th place. Also appearing are Murilo Melo, also from GUT SP (38), Renata Leo, from David (43), Bianca Guimares, from Mischief from the United States (53), Rodrigo Leal Rodrigues, from Horizon FCB Dubai (79), and Beto Rogoski, from VMLY&R (81).
The top three in this category were Sam Shepherd, from Leo Burnett in Chicago (USA), followed by Elliot Langerman, from ZS, and Marie Claire Maalouf, from Impact BBDO.
Now, the list of CCOs brings four names from Brazil: Gabriel Schmitt, who ranked 21st with FCB New York but, recently, the creative took over the chair of global CCO at Gray Group, was the best Brazilian. Sergio Gordilho, from Africa, comes in 37th, ahead of Danilo Boer, from FCB Global (48th), and Rafael Pitanguy, from VMLY&R (93rd).
Liz Taylor of Ogilvy took first place; Alexander Schill of Serviceplan and Tim Hawkey of Area 23 round out the top 3.
