Superhero movies are always a thorny subject to talk about and/or indicate. There are those who prefer the most faithful to the comics. Others just like Marvel. And there are those who have their own opinion about DC movies, lol. But anyway, with the debut of Shazam: Fury of the Gods in theaters, I decided to make my TOP 5 list of the genre. It’s just my preference, okay? Haha
1 – Avengers: Endgame – Disney Plus
Avengers: Endgame shows how the remaining heroes intend to reverse this situation. And the key character, of course, is Scott Lang, Ant-Man, who knows how time travel is possible. And, consequently, prevent Thanos from winning the battle of the previous film. But anyone who has seen a movie about change in the past knows that it has consequences. The film, in fact, belongs to the original three: Iron Man, Thor and Captain America, with a more than special appearance by Hulk. By the way, Mark Ruffalo and Chris Hemsworth are responsible for 90% of the jokes in the film. They are great! At the end of Avengers, the sadness is there. But also the pleasure of having lived an unparalleled experience!
2 – Batman the dark knight – HBO MAX
The best Batman and the best Joker together could only result in an unforgettable film. Heath Ledger won a posthumous Academy Award for his performance in the film. Two years after the appearance of Batman (Christian Bale), the criminals of Gotham City have a lot to fear. With the help of Lieutenant James Gordon (Gary Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart), Batman fights organized crime. Cornered with the fight, the crime bosses accept the proposal made by the Joker (Heath Ledger) and hire him to fight the Batman.
3 – Superman – The Movie – HBO MAX
The first, the classic, with the best Superman in history. Jor-El (Marlon Brando), a renowned scientist, predicts the destruction of his planet, Krypton, and alerts the government, which does not believe him. Thus, he decides to save his son by sending him to Earth, where he will have superpowers. On Earth, he goes by the name Clark Kent (Christopher Reeve). As an adult, he works as a reporter for a newspaper. But when an unexpected situation endangers the life of Lois Lane (Margot Kidder), a co-worker, he is forced to reveal himself to the public, becoming popularly known as Superman. Displeased with the emergence of a superhero in the city, Lex Luthor (Gene Hackman), an evil genius, forces him to unfold to prevent the deaths of millions of people.
4 – The Avengers – Disney Plus
The first moment when all the superheroes got together you will never forget. Loki (Tom Hiddleston) returns to Earth with the aim of dominating humans. He even steals the Cosmic Cube inside SHIELD facilities and, with it, acquires great powers. Loki uses them to control Dr. Erik Selvig (Stellan Skarsgard) and Clint Barton/Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), who start working for him. In order to contain them, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) summons a group of people with great skills, but who had never worked together. They are Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Bruce Banner/Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson). Only, despite the great danger that Earth is in, it is not that simple to contain the ego and interests of each of the superheroes so that they can act as a group.
5 – Thor the Dark World – Disney Plus
Most of the world hates this movie, but I love it. While Thor (Chris Hemsworth) led the last battles to win peace between the Nine Realms, the cursed elf Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) woke up from a long sleep, thirsting for revenge and eager to lead everyone into eternal darkness. Alerted to the danger by Odin (Anthony Hopkins), the hero needs to count on the help of his companions Volstagg (Ray Stevenson), Sif (Jaimie Alexander), among others, and even his brother, the treacherous Loki (Tom Hiddleston), in a audacious plan to save the universe from the great evil. But the paths of Thor and the beloved Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) cross again and, this time, her life is really in danger.
