Event for industry professionals to be held between April 3rd and 5th
WTM Latin America will be held between the next 3rd and 5th, under
the theme Explore new horizons, which should bring together tourism leaders and professionals interested in doing business with the Latin American trade at Expo Center Norte, in So Paulo. The 2022 event was a great success, as it boosted business at an important time, which consolidated it as the face-to-face landmark for the recovery of Latin American tourism. Now, the focus is on looking to the future and not looking back, which translates into the motto of the 2023 edition.
We want to support the sector in building a new era and towards new horizons, based on discoveries, innovation and learning, says Thais Del Ben, marketing and communication manager at WTM Latin America.
Exploring new horizons and keeping the radar on to detect opportunities is the idea of WTM Latin America. The strategy is also to promote networking that results in closing deals.
In the survey carried out after the event, according to the company, visitors who said they were very satisfied and completely satisfied with the event added up to 85% and the probability of return expressed by them was 90%.
The poll also found that 66% of respondents attended at least one WTM Latin America 2022 lecture and the satisfaction rate regarding the conferences reached 80% (4% more than that recorded in the 2019 edition).
The 2023 edition is also commemorative, as the fair completes ten years. For this reason, WTM Latin America says it is preparing a robust content grid, with rooms divided for debates, such as Explore transformation, which will bring topics such as diversity, inclusion, sustainability and ESG to the center of the discussion, with a focus on data and experiences with the potential to transform tourism.
The venue will be the stage for the third edition of the Responsible Tourism Award, part of the Global Responsible Tourism Awards family of awards, which reward and celebrate initiatives by Latin American companies in the field of sustainable development.
