The campaign aims to draw public attention and promote the “Banheiros Mudam Vidas” program.
Access to basic sanitation is a problem that affects thousands of families in Latin America. For this reason, Kimberly-Clark, through the Scott, Suave and Neve brands, teamed up with R/GA to launch the “Where is the bathroom?” campaign.
The objective of the piece is to promote the “Banheiros Mudam Vidas” program, an initiative that aims to provide access to safe toilets, education on drinking water and hygiene.
In the campaign video, different people visit an apartment for sale that is fully equipped, except for a bathroom. The visitors’ reaction to discovering this situation is recorded on video and, as they become aware of this particular absence, they begin to reflect on the difficult reality faced by millions of Latin Americans.
The Where is the Toilet? It is a call to reflect on something that we often take for granted, but for millions of people in Latin America is an unattainable luxury. In addition to contributing to improving living conditions in the region’s most vulnerable communities, we are committed to raising awareness of the importance of access to basic sanitation and will continue to use our voice to draw attention to the issue, said Kenneth Hylton, Director of Marketing of Kimberly-Clark Family Care in Latin America.
