Emmy-winning drama series EUPHORIA has returned to HBO Max with the release of its second season last Sunday, January 9th.
On its premiere day alone, the production broke an audience record in Latin America, becoming the most watched series by users of the platform in the region. The new season of the series, created and written by Sam Levinson, reached more viewers than the first season, as well as impressive social media engagement from different countries in the region on its premiere day.
Following the success of Harry Potter 20th Anniversary Celebration: Back to Hogwarts, the platform’s audience shows strong growth at the beginning of the year and the performance of the second season of EUPHORIA in Latin America exceeds HBO Max’s expectations.
The series also reflects the interest of local audiences in innovative, high-quality productions, with complex narratives, relevant themes and award-winning cast, such as the youngest Emmy winner and series protagonist, Zendaya.
