Accenture, Agencia Bistr, Mirum and i-Cherry are four companies that work in communication that are on the list of the 20 best for LGBTQIA+ people 2022. In first place was Ernst&Young, with Accenture Brasil in second position and the Accor chain see the complete list below.
The list, released for the fourth time, had 215 companies registered, which together represent 204,123 employees. This year, 20 companies were awarded and they are from seven different states; 13 from So Paulo, one from Rio Grande do Sul, one from Rio de Janeiro, two from Paraná, one from Minas Gerais, one from the Federal District and one from Bahia.
35% of companies correspond to the technology sector, 15% to finance and agency and media, 10% to tourism and leisure and biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, and 5% to services, education and law. In the profile of employees who work in the winning companies, 37% are between 26 and 34 years old; 30% between 35 and 44; 18% to 25; 12% between 45 and 54 and 4% over 55.
Among the 20 awarded companies, the average age of the presidents is around 49 years old, the average time in office is 8 years and 15% of the awarded companies are led by women. The study highlights that the average time of existence (foundation) of awarded companies is 38 years.
Other numbers worth mentioning are related to the work models of the best companies for LGBTQIA+ employees: 27% of companies have ESG strategies, policies and/or practices structured, 85% offer leave to care for a child or a relative who is sick, 10 % offer job tenure for new parents beyond the minimum required by law, and 25% have day care centers or nurseries at or near their workplace.
When asked why they remain in the best for people with LGBTQIA+, 44% of employees answered opportunity for growth, 24% quality of life, 16% alignment of values, 14% compensation/benefits and 3% stability.
In the trust indices by dimensions, 90% believe in the credibility of the leaders to manage people and manage the business in general, 89% in the respect of the leaders in the relationship with the employees, both in professional and personal matters, 87% in the impartiality of the leaders with regard to all employees, 91% are proud to exercise their profession and work at this company and 91% believe in camaraderie among co-workers and the presence of a sense of teamwork.
