Porta dos Fundos announces the arrival of Thiago Lopes as its new CEO. In office, the executive will be responsible for consolidating Digital Culture as the company’s core product and identifying growth paths through the development of new business models that will guide the development of Porta dos Fundos and its internationalization in the coming years.
Thiago says:
“Porta dos Fundos puts in one place only important moments of my career – entertainment and content, publicity and people management. The company is in a moment that I consider very promising: it has 10 years of history very well built and a vast horizon of possibilities for the future, this is what makes me most excited about this position.”
With a 22-year career, the executive served as strategy and creation leader at advertising agencies such as McCann Erickson, Talent Marcel and Cubo.cc (of which he was also CEO) and as vice president of Marketing at Netflix, a company in which he was for eight and a half years. He concluded:
“Porta dos Fundos has an innovative essence and I would like to put it at the service not only of the content we produce, but also in the face of other important discussions about the business, such as people development, diversity, equity and inclusion, for example. The company can point new ways not only with what you see on the screen, but also through the way it is managed as a whole.”
The executive will begin his activities in April, reporting to Fabricio Proti, Senior Vice President for Multiplatform Ad Sales at Paramount Latin America and General Manager in Brazil.
