Second shirt makes reference to the first ‘uniform’ used by the team in 1903
Grmio will complete 120 years of history, and one of the tributes was the launch of the second uniform of the tricolor gacho. Developed by Umbro, the white shirt features details that make reference to the first shirt used by Tricolor, in 1903.
At that time, the team wore a sky blue and havana striped shirt. Two special tags have been added to the shirt. On the inside of the collar, the phrase 120 years of glory you have Immortal Tricolor. The deeds of your history tell the Rio Grande with loveadapted from the club’s official anthem, appears in blue, black and white alongside the years 1903 and 2023 and two Grêmio crests: the first in history and the current one.
The Grmio’s historic coat of arms is also highlighted on the lower bar of the shirt, painted in havana and sky blue and next to the numbers 1903, 2023 and 120, emphasizing the commemorative occasion. Uruguayan star Luis Surez, winger Reinaldo, defender Pati Maldaner, midfielder Vina and striker Caty star in the campaign developed by the brand.
